Are you walking with 1000 pound weight on your shoulders?
I know you will feel this is a silly question, but I know everyone is doing that. There are many reasons for this. One, it is
coming from our genetic imprinting and another is coming from our surroundings. We are used to all this perception and understanding and
belief. We are more superstition about these things.
Let's get into an example: do you know where you went to school? do you know which teacher or professor has shouted at you?
Do you remember, your friends who did not behave with you properly? who does not respect you ? or forgot the humanity and behaved improperly.
you might have experienced strong opposition from your family members while doing certain things. sometimes you had experience who has done some mistake in life.
you might feel guilty about it. sometimes before something has happened to you and it was not in your control, but still you feel guilty about it.
Sometimes before you might have experienced strong fear due to someone's improper actions or behaviour. Many times in life you might have experienced anxiety and fear due to
unexpected situations and unexpected issues.
This list is very big and will be like that in every person's life, this is what I experienced and would be experienced by many people. It is with all parameters of your
life (it include learning, behaviour, communication, discussion, growth, earning money, relationship and sharing).
The reason for mentioning this is - we live with all this every minute, every hour and every day. It affects your results and it affects your
relations and growth.
There is a medical reason for this - our memory creates all these issues, and we use it to store 2 types of Data. short-term memory and long-term memory.
Short-term memory we use in our daily routine. Long-term memory we use to remember the name, places, issues, incidents and knowledge. But we have a major issue here
we developed ourselves since childhood that we remember bad incidents and easily forget good and lovely moments. It is not a mistake but in nature, it happens.
This behaviour impacts us a Lot, you can imagine the depth of it. You can check it by revising your historical incidents. I know many people had experienced life-threatening experiences also in life.
The reason is we don't know what is an afterlife and we can't experience that in this life, due to that our fear level is very high in terms of life-threatening experiences.
In addition to that, there are many other issues which increase our fear, anxiety and stress. All of this is coming while facing any situation which is not in your
control and to boost (our historical memory and historical experience are easily accessible to our logical thinking.) That consistently provides the fuel to your downgrading thoughts or degrading the
performance.
I know it is very difficult to break their barrier and change the behaviour or our reaction 360 degree to a new and different level.
I would like to mention that, even if you know these things are affecting your results, still it is tough to change them. In this world maximum number of people
are facing this and trying all possible solutions available in the world to get rid of it.
I like the sentence "You should be with the thing, work for it to achieve, but should be detached from it". I know it is a tough ask and needs a lot of effort to apply and act.
Can we decide and do this way in our life? "use our memory when it is necessary, and reject to use when we try something and do not want to get the same result due to historical information affecting our thinking?". In better words "our experience and logical mind should not affect our current or present moment result", can it be possible?
can we do this? anyone has done this? Have you done it by just applying some knowledge or other way to improve your understanding?
